Transfer to new computer

I have just installed BankTree on a new laptop (my old laptop died). I already registered and paid when I was using it on my old computer.

How do I validate/activate/register the installation on my new computer without having to pay again?

Restore from backup, or let us know - and we will reactive the software

Why is it not possible to run the software by providing the customer with their own activation details? When encountering a problem when installed on your ie laptop why cannot you just install and copy your dat file to a free desktop especially if you wish to use it on a different OS whilst waiting for support?

Yes you can, run a backup on the source computer. Then run a restore on the destination computer.
