Scheduled Payments

1. Is it possible to set start and finish dates or set a finite number of payments to be made in the schedule?
2. Is it possible to set up variable amounts for a payment in a schedule? This would be very useful for variable direct debits from accounts.

Yes you can have fixed number of payments or variable payments

You will need to update to the latest version.
